Block Tales

Block Tales is block puzzle game with an adventure theme. It evolved from an earlier project "Puzzle Woods" but with revised gameplay mechanics and meta design, whilst still keeping true to the fun block-drawing core.

The project went through a lot of iteration and evolution, where I worked closely with Tom Hunt to produce characters, environments and appealing puzzle elements in the spirit of a globe-trekking adventure. Unfortunately the project was not meant to be, however these images should provide some insight into the breadth of work that went into building it.
